Sodium Nitrite(chemicals)

Description:

White or slight yellow oblique and square crystals. Specific gravity: 2.168. Melting point: 271. It is soluble in water and liquid ammonium easily. Water solution is appeared as alkaline (pH=9), slightly soluble in methyl alcohol, ethanol and ether, with very strong hygroscopicity.
